The award recognises our commitment to building a sustainable, locally rooted food enterprise in rural Kerry — combining certified organic mushroom production with modern digital outreach to grow our community and customer base.
At Mo Farm, we cultivate organic gourmet mushrooms and produce carefully crafted extracts and powders, guided by regenerative principles and circular resource use. Alongside food production, we are advancing research and development into mycelium-based leather alternatives and sustainable mushroom-derived green cosmetic formulations, exploring the wider potential of fungi beyond the plate.
This recognition affirms our belief that innovation can thrive in rural Ireland — and that regenerative farming, digital enterprise, and forward-thinking research can exist side by side.
